The rental tower currently under construction at 321 Wythe Avenue in Williamsburg continues to make progress and will soon debut its 130 brand-new homes. The 19-story, mixed-use tower, a project from Watermark Capital Group with a design by ND Architecture, is slated to be complete this summer, according to the developer's website. There are several new renderings of the project showing modern and refined interiors. Contemporary kitchens will have suspended shelving with dark or light cabinetry and classic countertops. Spacious baths will have black-and-white tiled floors, built-in shelving and glass-wall showers.
The building includes 39 units reserved for residents making 130 percent of the area median income and those units will be awarded through a housing lottery. As our blog 6sqft reports, the housing lottery has kicked-off, and qualifying New Yorkers can apply though July 17, 2018. For these units, pricing depends on household size and income and starting price tiers are $1,999/month for one-bedrooms and $2,399/month for two-bedrooms. Pricing for the building’s market-rate units has not been revealed but a search for Williamsburg rentals on CityRealty shows listings have a median price of $3,100/month; see them here.
