Here's our first look at the new mixed-use rental at 325 Gates Avenue, on the corner of Bedford Avenue and Gates Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Upon completion, the building deisgned by ND Architecture will have a modern facade with contrasting red brick and brown accents. The rendering shows that all 48 apartments will enjoy abundant natural light from large windows, and select units will have private balconies. The Brooklyn-based Renaissance Realty Group, which owns more than two dozen properties throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn, is at the helm.
According to plans filed with the city, building amenities will include a bike room, an outdoor terrace, and 24 off-street parking spaces. Until retail tenants are announced for the five shops in the base of the building, residents will have easy access to Bedford Avenue's shopping and dining. Leasing has not yet launched, but CityRealty listings show that the median rent in Bedford-Stuyvesant is $1,920/month for a studio and $2,250/month for a one-bedroom. See more listings here.
