We recently stopped by the site at 572 Eleventh Avenue in Hell's Kitchen where the Moinian Group and CetraRuddy are in the midst of constructing a handsome 13-story mixed-use rental building.

The structure spans the entire eastern frontage on Eleventh Ave between West 43rd and West 44th Street and once complete, it will have 163 rental units and roughly 10,000 square feet of retail at the cellar and ground floors.

The building topped out over the summer and recent photos show the facade being installed with only a couple of more floors to go. The location is noteworthy; it was the site of the the popular Market Diner, a former celebrity hangout that was also once featured on an episode of Seinfeld.

The area has been hot with residential projects including a nearby condo conversion of a former school (520 West 45th Street) and another high-end rental by Moinian, the 71-story SKY rentals at 605 West 42nd Street.

CetraRuddy's design leaves outdoor space for residents, including a landscaped roof deck and an interior courtyard. Amenities will include a 24-hour attended lobby and onsite resident manager, a fitness center, a lounge, a business center, and bike storage.

The housing lottery has just launched for 46 units, as our blog 6sqft reports, and qualifying New Yorkers may apply through February 16 for studio, one- and two-bedroom homes. Income guidelines are below and more details can be found on 6sqft here.
