At long last, Hello Townhaus has hit the market. It’s been almost three years since we learned about the development, and now after several redesigns and a subtle name change, the eight 3-story townhouses are now a reality. The Prospect Heights project was developed by Eli Karp’s Hello Living, best known for their branded condo buildings scattered throughout northern Brooklyn. Hello Living picked up the site at 22-36 Underhill Avenue in early 2013 for $2.1 million and commissioned Brooklyn-based firm Loadingdock5, Jun Aizaki of Crème Architecture + Design and Design Kollektivor for the design.
Like many of Hello Living’s previous Bauhaus-inspired designs, these townhouses sport a clean minimalist feel inside and out. Each of the homes will have a private terrace with an adjoining kitchenette and underground parking spaces.

Like many of Hello Living’s previous Bauhaus-inspired designs, the townhouses sport a clean minimalist feel inside and out. They are supposedly a modern reinterpretation of the classic pre-war townhome, though in our opinion their undercooked stucco exteriors painted in muted colors are a bit underwhelming.
Each home is a 3-bedroom smart home spanning 2,700 square feet of interior space and offering a choice of light and dark finish palettes. Each has 4 bathrooms, a great room, den, laundry room, finished cellar, sprawling private terrace with adjoining kitchenette, a finished roof deck, and a private underground parking space.

While it appears the project will no longer seek Passive House certification, they are built with state-of-the-art components for superior energy performance. Energy-efficient features include a PassivHaus-certified Zehnder ventilation unit, highly-insulated roof and façade systems and weather-sealed Yaro Energy windows.
For now, only the two homes at 22 and 24 Underhill are on the market and are priced at $3.95M and $3.495M accordingly. We assume number 22 is priced higher since it anchors the corner, affording the home several more windows over leafy Pacific Street.
