Pritzker Prize-winning architect Richard Meier’s work can be seen in the West Village at top-ranked condos such as 173 and 176 Perry Street and 165 Charles Street; he brings his work uptown with One Waterline Square (10 Riverside Boulevard), part of the new Waterline Place development on West 63rd Street. This 37-story building is one of three towers on trapezoidal sites and rapidly reaching its pinnacle.

When completed, the building will command one full city block and hold 216 rental units below 50 condominiums. It will incorporate Mr. Meier’s signature white accents and feature an undulating metal and glass façade. Residences will have high ceilings, enormous windows overlooking direct Hudson River views, and a rich selection of hand-picked finishes. Amenities will include a luxurious port-cochere and sundeck with an outdoor kitchen. Completion is estimated for 2019.

One Waterline Square is just the beginning for Waterline Place. Each of the three towers is designed by a leading architect; the others are designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and Rafael Vinoly, and 20% of the apartments within will be affordable. All three buildings will have access to The Waterline Club, which will connect the three buildings and offer over 90,000 square feet of amenities, including a fitness center and space for almost every sport, lap pool and spa area, playrooms for children and dogs, party rooms for adults and children, games lounge, card lounge, bowling alley, recording studio, and performance spaces. A 2.6-acre park will connect to the Riverside Park South esplanade and feature fountains, manicured lawns, a children’s playground, and cascading water features. The acclaimed Cipriani will run a food hall, market, restaurant, and bar.
