From September 16-22, 2025, nearly 350 condos, co-ops, condops, and townhouses in core New York City areas experienced price reductions. These included a Fifth Avenue duplex purchased by Lee Radziwill, sister to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and a style icon in her own right. In addition to working as an interior decorator for well-heeled clients, she brought her eye for style to a duplex apartment at the prestigious 969 Fifth Avenue when she returned to New York from London. She told Architectural Digest that she'd composed all rooms to reflect the sun, sky, and movement of light from the views of Central Park.

Ms. Radziwill lived at Residence #5/6 until 1979, at which time she moved to 160 East 72nd Street, her New York City home until her death in 2019. Town & Country identified the most recent owner of the Fifth Avenue apartment as philanthropist Suzanne von Liebig; she bought it for $7.6 million in the early 2000s. It was listed for $16.9 million in August 2025, and a price reduction brings it down to $14.9 million.
