Sales Begin on New Chelsea Condos at 231 West 26th

New York-based Azimuth Development Group has been busy supersizing a pre-war Chelsea building into a 7-floor, six-unit condomnium. Positioned midblock at 231 West 26th Street, a stone’s throw from Chelsea Television Studios and FIT, the revamp will offer one- to three-bedroom residences each offering private elevator access and outdoor space.
Aufgang Architects are the designers of the rehab and a recent visit to the site shows that the construction team is almost done applying the new grey-brick façade but have yet to install the windows. A recently launched teaser site for the project shows Elliman will be handling sales. A CityRealty sales search reveals there are 215 condos now available in Chelsea priced at a median of $2,103 per ft². Stay tuned for the listing debut in the coming months.
