The top sale of the first full week of January 2022 was a 5-bedroom, 7.5-bath apartment at The Puck Penthouses that closed for $35,000,000. The Puck Penthouses are a collection of six penthouses at the top of the landmarked Puck Building, which is located at the crossroads of Soho, Nolita, and Noho. In September 2021, model Karlie Kloss and her husband, venture capitalist Joshua Kushner, signed a contract for what was then the last remaining unit in the building, which had an asking price of $42,500,000. The LLC linked to the sale is the same one Kushner and Kloss used for another unit they already own in the building.
CityRealty data shows that this sale is the largest ever recorded in NoLita. Puck Penthouses listings account for six of the top 10 priciest sales ever recorded in the neighborhood; this sale comes second to a penthouse at 152 Elizabeth Street that closed for $29.95 million in 2018. Additionally, when Kloss and Kushner bought their new apartment, they listed another one they owned in the building. It remains on the market for $23,500,000.

Stern-designed tower came in second among the best-selling buildings of 2021, having racked up a total of $530 million in sales over the course of the year. It has accumulated a total of $3.382 billion in sales overall, and a $238 million purchase in the building still holds the record of the most expensive sale in the city as well as the country.
