Morris Adjmi Architects is known for its respectful interpretations of historic buildings, and that philosophy carries over well to its most recent Williamsburg project at 138 North 10th Street. The building is two blocks from the extensive outdoor offerings of McCarren Park, and Smorgasburg is within walking distance. All year round, residents benefit from easy access to restaurant, shopping, nightlife, and transportation.
An accepted offering plan for the building lists a $24.85 million sellout, and the first two-bedroom to go on the market is listed for $2.2 million. According to CityRealty listings, this is well above the Williamsburg median price of $1.475 million for similar units. However, an anticipated 15-year tax abatement should soften the blow somewhat.
