More affordable units are available at 535 Carlton Avenue, the latest building to open at Brooklyn's megaproject Pacific Park, which includes 550 Vanderbuilt and the modular 461 Dean Street. Developed by Greenland Forest City Partners and designed by COOKFOX, 535 Carlton stands 15 stories tall and contains 298 no fee all-affordable rentals, making it the only other all-affordable building in Pacific Park, next to 38 Sixth Avenue.

The housing lottery opened last year and while you can no longer find a studio for $548/month, there are units currently available for those making 165% of the AMI (Area Median Income). Prices range from $2,137/month for a studio to $3,716/month for a three-bedroom apartment. You can check your eligibility here by inputting your household size and annual income.

Residents of 535 Carlton will enjoy access to a fitness center, outdoor rooftop terrace with garden, pet grooming room, courtyard, children's playroom, common lounge, bike room, and laundry on every floor. Apartment are pre-wired for Verizon Fios and include features like beautiful hardwood floors throughout, custom cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances including a microwave, dishwasher, and 5 burner stove.
