New York Fashion Week used to take place only at Bryant Park and later Lincoln Center, but was truly all over the place for the spring/summer 2026 fashion shows in September 2025. Calvin Klein returned to the schedule with a show at the Brant Foundation in the East Village; Simkhai presented its collection at Essex Crossing; COS put on its show at Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse; and Michael Kors' show took place at the reimagined Terminal Warehouse in West Chelsea. Minimalism and structured silhouettes were prevalent, though brands like Tory Burch, Diotima, and Eckhaus Latta infused their shows with eye-popping color.
By the time Fashion Week's over, both runway show attendees and those following the shows online can't help but feel inspired to refresh their wardrobe. New York City has no shortage of ways to do it, between designer flagships and independent boutiques, but closet space is famously at a premium in city apartments. Serious fashionistas would be encouraged to look for an apartment with a dressing room that allows them to organize their wardrobes, like the ones seen below.
