The Hudson Square section of Soho has recently attracted architectural luminaries like Renzo Piano, COOKFOX, and BKSK Architects, but first-ever Pritzker Prize laureate Philip Johnson saw the neighborhood’s potential early when his Urban Glass House rose at 330 Spring Street, just one block from the Hudson River, in 2006. The 12-story, 40-unit condominium designed in partnership with Alan Ritchie was his last commissioned project and designed as a tribute to Glass House, his home in Connecticut. The Annabelle Selldorf-designed amenities include a gym, yoga room, and bike room, but its most highly coveted offering is its easy access to the best shopping, dining, nightlife, culture, and transportation in both Soho and Tribeca.

One of its notable residents is Susan White Morrissey, a co-founder of luxury cashmere line White & Warren whose passion for design is not limited to fashion. After purchasing her two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath corner condo for $2.95 million in 2014, she quickly set to transforming the 1,722-square-foot apartment into the perfect space for entertaining. But as she told the New York Post, “It’s time for a change and my next project.” That has prompted her to look for a new place uptown and put her current home on the market for $3.45 million. Brown Harris Stevens’ S. Jean Meisel and Gillian Bland have the listing.
