Price Cuts: Renovated condo in French chateau-style landmark shaves $1.7M off ask; Essex House 3-bed with park views now 57% off

From June 4-10, 2024, approximately 400 condos, co-ops, condops, and townhouses throughout New York City experienced price reductions, with the largest number of reductions taking place in Midtown West, specifically in Hell's Kitchen. Due in part to continued hybrid work schedules, the area has not bounced all the way back to its pre-pandemic vibrance; the migrant crisis, other quality of life issues, and recent congestion pricing pause cannot help, either.

A selection of notable listings, along with a full chart of all price cuts, may be seen below. Please be advised that all quoted figures reflect cumulative price cuts as opposed to the most recent reductions.
