Downtown by Starck Overview

Located at 15 Broad Street in the Financial District, Downtown by Starck is named after Philippe Starck, the “starchitect” who oversaw the design of its conversion from offices to residential condos.  

15 Broad Street once housed the headquarters of J.P. Morgan’s banking segment and now contains approximately 380 apartments. There are more than 150 different floor plans in Downtown by Starck, which is 40 stories tall and has residences ranging from studios to three-bedroom units. Apartments are large and feature high ceilings and washers and dryers. Marble-clad bathrooms have soaking tubs and kitchens feature modern appliances and custom lighting systems designed by Starck.

Notable amenities include an attended lobby, a concierge, a full-time doorman, central air conditioning and heating, a health club, a pool, a party room and a spectacular rooftop terrace that overlooks the nearby New York Stock Exchange. 15 Broad Street is located near a major subway station and is close to the restaurants and retail shops in the surrounding FiDi.
