Although closings began earlier this year at SOM's 252 East 57th Street, most of what we've been able to see so far are renderings. Well, we now have a glimpse at the undulating 715-foot tower's 34th Floor Club and pool designed by acclaimed AD100 interior architect, Daniel Romualdez. Perhaps an unconventional choice for a massive Midtown development, Romualdez is mostly known for designing celebrity homes including those of Mick Jagger, Tory Burch, and many others.
Romualdez drew inspiration from iconic NYC spots and imagined some residents of the building to be "cosmopolitan-design minded." He successfully pulled off urban and sleek interiors and integrated his personal favorites like a St. Thomas sofa and a waterfall coffee table. With comfort and functionality at the forefront, amenity spaces are able to serve as an extension of each resident's private home.

The 34th Floor Club features 16-foot ceilings and panoramic views of NY's skyline and rivers.
