Recent construction photos showing a pitched American flag at 69 East 125th Street's structural apex reveal that the mixed-use rental building has reached its full height of 12 stories, 120 feet. Greystone Property Development picked up the East Harlem lot back in 2014, joining the herd of developers who have taken interest in this stretch of the neighborhood. The development, located between Madison and Park avenues near the 125th Street Metro North station, has quickly risen since construction first began in late 2015.

The development sits across from Bruce Eichner's failed rental tower known as 1800 Park Avenue.
The development will span approximately 63,000 square feet in all, and Kutnicki Bernstein Architects are the designers who penned an eclectic mix of facades for its 125th Street elevation. The development is split between two towers, with the shorter, north tower reaching 6 stories plus a rooftop penthouse. The north tower will consist of half- and full-floor apartments as well as a duplex on the first and second floor. The south tower, facing 125th street, will host a 5,643 square foot ground floor retail space with 51 feet of frontage on 125th Street. Once completed, the project will house 75 apartments in all with twenty percent of the units rented at below-market rates. Amenities include a 15-car garage, residential storage, a bike and laundry room and a roof deck. Completion is scheduled for spring 2017.
