Here's our first look at a 5-story residential building replacing a one-story Chinese takeout restaurant at 83 Humboldt Street in East Williamsburg. The project's narrow lot is located between Moore and Siegel streets and last April, the takeout restaurant that stood at the site was sold for $12 Million to Yoel Berkovitz's 83 Humboldt LLC.
The 6-story building now under constriction will span nearly 8,000 square-feet in area and house 10 dwelling units, according to permits that were fully approved late last year. Amenities will include resident storage and a rooftop deck. Joseph A. Mucciolo is listed as the architect of record, and J. Goldman Design, who is also involved in the desing published the renderings shown here on their website.
The project is located approximately five blocks from both the Montrose Avenue L train station and the Flushing Avenue J and M train station and even less of a walk to catch either the B43 or B60 bus lines.
