Construction is underway at a new 7-story residential building on West 142nd Street. The site, 306 West 142nd Street between Bradhurst and Frederick Douglas Boulevard, is a ground-up development on a previously abandoned lot. Neighborhood buildings were recently stabilized and the foundation was laid, and the structure has already risen to above street level.

The project's developer is Heritage Real Estate Partners, and the architect of record is EDMI International. Though not announced, average square footage indicate the units will be rentals.
When complete, the 70-foot building will have 7 floors with 36 residential units, and its ground floor will have over 2,000 square feet for a community-based facility. Amenities will include a bike room, a laundry facility, elevator and terrace. The location is a short walk to several subway stations on West 145th Street, and is also along several bus routes.
