Developed by Two Trees, the 17-story, glass-clad apartment tower at 60 Water Street was completed in 2015 in an area the building's designer, Lesser Architecture, says is "at the sloping junctions of old, waterfront merchant streets and sliced overhead by the Brooklyn Bridge, the site itself is a reflection of DUMBO’s condition - an imperfect pattern of old and new elements brought together through a cohesive energy."

Currently, new 12-month leases include up to 2 months of free rent and listings show studios start at $3,005/month, 1 bedrooms at $3,438/month and 2 bedrooms at $4,849/month. View the listings here.

Apartments at the waterfront rental are spacious and many layouts have home offices or private terraces. Interiors are outfitted with floor-to-ceiling windows, oak floors, custom kitchens with Caesarstone countertops, and baths with appliances from Liebherr and Bosch.

At the building's summit is a lush communal roof terrace designed by James Corner Field Operations, the landscape designers of the High Line, with Manhattan-facing waterfront views. Other amenities include an attended lobby and concierge, a fitness center, on-site parking and bicycle storage. Several transit options are nearby, including the F, C and E subway lines within a few blocks, but the most impressive route is certainly the Brooklyn Bridge.
