Crane crash on Ninth Avenue

In early April 2025, two cranes fell through scaffolding on the corner of Ninth Avenue and West 38th Street, where the Passive House condominium Vita is taking shape. A section of Ninth Avenue was shut down as the FDNY cleared the street and conducted safety checks. The general contractor is now conducting a recovery plan.
