Carter’s Review

"One of the most attractive postwar buildings on Park Avenue, this 20-story apartment house was erected in 1956 and has a very nicely modulated façade because the building is set back slightly from two bays that divide its avenue frontage into five parts.

In the heart of the Murray Hill District, the handsome redbrick structure, which was designed by Kahn & Jacobs with Paul Resnik, is just a short walk from Grand Central Terminal, the New York Public Library and the Morgan Library. This section of Park Avenue is relatively quiet because most traffic takes the tunnel beneath the avenue from 33rd to 40th Streets."
