Famous photog Annie Leibovitz recently sold her West Village compound (George W. Bush niece Lauren Bush and hubby David Lauren were the buyers); Leibovitz appears to have switched residential gears with the purchase of a three-bedroom co-op in the Brentmore at 88 Central Park West. The uptown apartment, bought for $11.25 million, offers Central Park views and Robert DeNiro as a fifth-floor neighbor (CurbedNY).

Under-the-radar innovators Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, founders of the exchange-traded Winklevoss Bitcoin Trust, were just identified as the buyers of a 4,300 square-foot condo at 20 Greene Street in SoHo for $14.5 million. The towering triplex was recently gut renovated with Siberian white oak flooring and offers panoramic views of just about every corner of Manhattan (NYO).

Pier Luigi Loro Piana, scion of venerable Italian cashmere company Loro Piana, is the new owner of an elegant three-bedroom co-op at 980 Fifth Avenue. The corner apartment has 50 feet of Central Park frontage, views from every room, two master suites with en suite marble baths, custom closets and a library. Loro Piana acquired the classic Fifth Avenue home for $11.3 million (NYO).

Formula One racing world champion Lewis Hamilton is reportedly apartment hunting in downtown Manhattan. The Brit racer recently toured a 4,895-square-foot penthouse condo atop the Puck Building at 293 Lafayette Street in SoHo, currently on the market for $21 million (NYPost).
