Comment About the Building
The lobby is being renovated. There is a prewar mosaic whuch is the focal point and view from the lobby will look out onto a very well landscaped garden area. It is not finished but the renderings look very good. The building is in the process of being converted into a condo. So there is no board approval. The units are sponsor units. It is a wonderful location on 95th St and Riverside Dr. You step out the door and Riverside Park is right there. A short walk and you can be in Central Park. Like the parks this location also gives the choice of two different subways lines: 2 blocks from Broaday where you have the express stop on the 7th Ave IRT, the #1, 2, and 3 trains. There is also the 104 bus. and the M96 cross town. You also have access to the B and C trains at Central Park West and a variety of buses running on Amsterdam and Columbus. Gourmat Gargage is at B`Way/ 96th. There is a great bike shop and a hugh plant store that are well known throughout the Upper West Side. There is a wide variety of shopping, restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood.
