The seven story red brick building replaced the one story Veranda Restaurant, which occupied the site from 1937, and its articulated façade, angled plans, and gray metal roofline were shaped in response to the area's masonry context.
The building contains just five full floor residences, giving its apartments an unusually consistent spatial organization. Homes feature ceilings of about 10 feet, steel framed windows, open kitchens, in unit washer and dryer, central air conditioning, and private outdoor space that may take the form of a terrace, balcony, or solarium. The duplex penthouse is arranged over two levels, with several terraces extending the upper and lower floors outdoors.
Building services include concierge service, a virtual doorman, a live in superintendent, additional storage, and a rooftop terrace; pets are allowed.
