Harbor House at 130 Jane Street is a six story red brick building originally constructed in 1898 as a paper warehouse and converted to a co-op in 1976. Located on a tree lined cobblestone street in the West Village, the 45 unit building has undergone extensive recent renovations, including new infrastructure, plumbing, electrical systems, hallways, and lobby. The building's industrial warehouse origins remain evident in many apartments, with exposed brick walls, original beams and columns, and loft style layouts.
Apartments range from one bedrooms to triplexes, many featuring 10 foot ceilings, wood burning fireplaces, and private outdoor space including roof terraces and patios. Several units are duplexes or triplexes with dramatic staircases, and many include in unit washer/dryers. The building has attracted notable residents including Rachel Maddow, Faith No More keyboardist Roddy Bottum, and SoulCycle co-founder Julie Rice.
Building amenities include a part-time doorman, live-in superintendent, fitness center, roof deck, bike room, laundry facilities, and private storage. The building is located close to Hudson River Park, the Whitney Museum, the High Line, and the Meatpacking District, with multiple subway lines (A/C/E, L, 1/2/3) within walking distance.

For some co-ops, instead of price per square foot, we use an estimate of the number of rooms for each sold apartment to chart price changes over time. This is because many co-op listings do not include square footage information, and this makes it challenging to calculate accurate square-foot averages.
By displaying the price per estimated room count, we are able to provide a more reliable and consistent metric for comparing sales in the building. While we hope that this gives you a clearer sense of price trends in the building, all data should be independently verified. All data provided are only estimates and should not be used to make any purchase or sale decision.
