Carter Horsley's Review of The Bancroft

Carter Horsley's Building Review
"This pleasant, mid-block, Italian Renaissance-palazzo style, apartment building was erected in 1925 and converted to a cooperative in 1984.

It has a very distinctive cornice that is colored blue beneath its arches. The building has a three-story limestone base with a canopied entrance and arched windows on the second floor. It has a concierge and permits protruding air-conditioners. It has no health club, no balconies and no garage." Read Carter's Full Review
