41 Blue Slip, also known as Two Blue Slip, is a 40 story waterfront rental completed in Greenpoint in 2020. Designed by Handel Architects, the 421 unit tower pairs a three story red brick base with black metal multi pane windows, projecting brick piers, angled window bays, and a glass setback at the top.
Brookfield Properties and Park Tower Group developed the building as part of Greenpoint Landing, the 22 acre complex extending along a half mile of the East River. Gachot Studios designed the interiors, while Futuregreen and James Corner Field Operations contributed to the landscape program, which includes a 1.5 acre waterfront park and esplanade.
Apartments have 9 foot ceilings, keyless entry, and in-unit laundry, and some have walk-in closets. The building has a concierge, virtual doorman, live-in superintendent, fitness center, children’s playroom, roof terrace, mail room, bike room, storage, and on-site parking; pets are permitted.
The India Street ferry landing is about a third of a mile away. The G train stops at Greenpoint Avenue and Manhattan Avenue, while the waterfront park connects the building to the public shoreline around Newtown Barge Playground.
