A 31-story residential tower is planned for the vacant site at 39-45 East 29th Street between Madison and Park Avenues.

The developer is Jonis Realty of Great Neck, L. I., of which Nathan Halegua is a principal.

The mid-block project is anticipated to contain 132 residential condominiums. It will have roof terraces, a gym and lounge, and many corner windows, but no balconies.

It is about one block to the east of another major new residential condominium tower now under construction at 11 West 29th Street.

H. Thomas O'Hara is the architect.

39 East 29th Street LLC, the listed owner of the site and its address is in care of Laurence Ruben & Company at 600 Madison Avenue, is listed in city records as having made air rights agreements at the site.

CityRealty.com's attempts to reach Jonis Realty and Mr. O'Hara for further information were unsuccessful today.
