Petro Realty of Mamaroneck, N.Y., is developing a new 7-story residential condominium building at 325 West 13th Street that is called ?The Ganesvoort.?

The mid-block building is between Hudson Street and Eighth Avenue and is half a block to the east of the Ganesvoort Hotel in the Meat-Packing District of the Far West Village.

Construction started recently on the building, which will have full floor apartments with two bedrooms and two baths that are priced to start at about $2,295,000 and a three-bedroom penthouse duplex unit with 3 baths and two roof decks that is priced at about $5,950,000.

Stonehill & Taylor is the architectural firm for the development.

Michael V. Petrillo is the operating manager of Petro Gans LLC that obtained a $5,433,300 mortgage for the property from M & L Real Estate Trust of Buffalo last fall.

The second through the sixth floors of the building have curved balconies.

The building is very close to many very popular restaurants such as Markt and Pastis.
