Plans for 1 Seventh Avenue South
By Carter Horsley   |   From Archives Friday, September 16, 2005
Recap Partners has applied to the New York City Board of Standards & Appeals for a variance to erect a five-and-a-half story building with retail and residential uses at 1 Seventh Avenue South.

Earlier this month, the zoning committee of Community Board 2 was given a presentation of the plans and David Reck, the committee chairman, told CityRealty.com yesterday that the committee felt the request was "fairly reasonable."

The 1,600-square-foot site is now occupied by a one-story retail structure. It is at the intersection of Carmine and Clarkson Streets.

Rogers Marvel Architects is designing the development, which will probably have only 4 apartments, according to Stephen J. Rizzo, the zoning attorney for the developers.
