The glut of residential construction on Billionaires' Row in recent years has created some of the most expensive apartments in the city (think 111 West 57th Street and One57) - and one of the biggest selling-points is the opportunity to have sought-after panoramic views of Central Park.

A new 27-story office tower by Savanna will soon be among them. The site of the new project is 106 West 56th Street, a short distance from Hearst Tower and Time Warner Center. Upon completion, the building will offer workers the same awe-inspiring views as its residential neighbors. The developer has another notable project under construction in the city; Savanna is the firm behind the recently topped-out Morningside Heights condominium known as Vandewater.

The building at 106 West 56th Street will be LEED certified, and renderings of its design by Perkins Eastman show a structural steel tower with glass curtain walls and aluminum composite panels. Interior renderings show an attractive lobby, several elevator bays, and a lounge designed to impress. Plans filed with the city also call for a cellar-level bike room and accessory terraces throughout.
