A new rental building will soon open at 751 East 6th Street in the East Village. The project is from L+M Development Partners which purchased the site in 2014 for $12.5 million. The developers are behind several notable projects throughout New York City including Northside Piers in Williamsburg and The Pearson Court Square in Long Island City.

The new East Village mixed-use rental, now fully topped out and nearing completion, rises to 12 floors and has 110 rental residences. Its ground-floor retail space will be occupied by Rite Aid. The project is a 75 / 25 development and the housing lottery for the property's affordable units just kicked off, as featured on our blog 6sqft.
Twenty-five percent of the units (28 in total) are available to those earning 40, 60, and 130 percent of the area median income and range from $596/month studios to $2,519/month two-bedrooms. Building features include a terrace, landscaped roof deck, fitness center, lounge and bike room. Read more about the lotto on 6sqft here.
