Price Cuts: One Essex Crossing penthouse slashed by 25%; High-floor UES 2-bed reduced to $929K

One Essex Crossing (Corcoran Group) One Essex Crossing (Corcoran Group)
From July 10-16, 2024, approximately 280 condos, co-ops, condops, and townhouses throughout New York experienced price reductions. Among them were four units at One Essex Crossing, one of two condominium buildings in the Essex Crossing mega-development that brought new attention to this section of the Lower East Side. Its neighbor, 242 Broome Street, quickly sold out, and sales have gone apace at One Essex Crossing, but the sponsor has cut prices on the last availabilities in pursuit of a full sellout.
Further uptown, 323 E 79th Street offers 14 floor-through units with direct elevator entry, spacious floor plans, high-end finishes and appliances, and private outdoor space in every unit. However, it took shape in an increasingly crowded market, and three sponsor units have had their prices reduced.
