At the Javits Center, the dust has barely settled from New York Comic Con before it's time to set up for BravoCon on October 14-16. When it's over, Bravo powerhouse host/producer Andy Cohen won't have far to travel, having just closed on a West Village penthouse with a solarium, multiple private terraces, and the week's highest price at $18,210,000. The sellers, attorneys Willard Taylor and Virginia Davies, have lived in the penthouse for decades and hosted Democratic fundraisers and parties in the home.
Further uptown, while Central Park Tower is the tallest residential building in the world and home of a penthouse listed for $250,000,000, it only had the second-highest sale of the past week. Residence #46B, a north-facing three-bedroom, closed for $12,253,250, or 12.9% below its last ask of $14,075,000. The apartment boasts floor-to-ceiling windows throughout, a layout that successfully separates the living and sleeping quarters, and panoramic views of Central Park.
