From October 25-31, 2023, a total of 366 sales listings throughout New York City experienced price reductions. Among them was the Upper East Side home of former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, who listed the apartment for $6.5 million over the summer amidst his mounting legal battles. The apartment is located in a New York City Landmark in a rarefied section of the Upper East Side, and is rich in prewar details like expansive proportions, high ceilings, double-hung windows, and a wood-burning fireplace. But its occupant's reputation has taken a hit over the past several years, even without a federal indictment over the summer and his apartment being raided by the FBI in spring 2021. The New York Post announced that he has just reduced the price of the apartment to $6,100,000
