Features

In the first week of November 2021, CityRealty listings show 9,766 publicly listed condos, co-ops, condops, and townhouses for sale in core areas of New York. The median Manhattan condo price comes to $2,322,055 ($1,836 per square foot), up 1.3 percent from the beginning of October 2021. The median Manhattan co-op price, however, took a slight dip to $896,749 in the same time period.

From October 26 to November 2, a total of 304 listings experienced price cuts. Among them was the duplex penthouse at Residences at Prince, the condo conversion of the landmarked Old St. Patrick's School and Convent in Nolita. When it was originally listed for $13.1 million in March 2017, it would have been one of the most expensive condo sales in the neighborhood. The sprawling apartment features a working fireplace, a state-of-the-art kitchen, four bedroom suites, and three outdoor spaces, including a private roof terrace. However, the combination has failed to entice, and the price has been reduced to $10.75 million. A full, sortable chart may be found below.
