As the second week of June 2021 draws to a close, CityRealty listings show a total of 10,666 publicly listed apartments in core areas of New York, representing a 2.7 percent drop from last week's total of 10,966 listings. Meanwhile, the Manhattan median rent climbed slightly to $3,251/month. Encouraging vaccination rates and low coronavirus cases are allowing New York life to get closer to normalcy, and that may mean an end to the lower rents from the height of the pandemic.
