The past week was another successful one for 109 East 79th Street, a new Upper East Side condo with Art Deco, Mid-Century, and Bauhaus architectural influences. Several stories down, #7E also closed for $8,401,289 in another of the week's top sales. The top downtown sale and second-highest overall took place at The Chelsea Enclave, the condop located at the close of the General Theological Seminary in West Chelsea. Residence #4A, a recently renovated four-bedroom home with views of the seminary's park and gardens, sold for $12,250,000, or just under the last listing price of $12,500,000. However, the sellers still stand to make a profit on it: Public records indicate that they purchased it for $9,939,120 in July 2017.
