A two-wing condominium complex is planned in the rapidly transforming Dutch Kills section of Long Island City on a though-block lot at 37-21 32nd Street and 37-14 33rd Street. Developers Eaststone Capital are leading the project which will comprise 89 residential units in two seven-story buildings. Permits filed last year show Flushing-based Tan Architect is the applicant of record for the 60,000-square-foot development. EastOne's website seeking new investors for the project says, “The development plan is to demolish the existing industrial building and rebuild a mixed-use property with commercial and residential condos and 160 parking spaces."
Vantage Construction Group Inc. will handle the construction and the team hopes to complete entitlements, permitting and construction financing by August 2018.
