Rendering of 47-09 5th Street (Bluarch Architecture) Rendering of 47-09 5th Street (Bluarch Architecture)
The first renderings have been released of the new development planned for 47-09 5th Street in Long Island City. The new 5-story building is set to host eight apartments and will top out at 70 feet, replacing a 2-story structure. The rendering shows a white structure with a unique interplay of narrow windows with brown frames. The building will have a landscaped rooftop deck, and several balconies that are framed similarly to the windows.

The building was first proposed in December 2014 by Noel Building Consulting. The architect of record is Antonio Di Oronzo of Bluarch Architecture, whose other notable projects include 243 Second Avenue in Murray Hill and Queens 14 in Astoria.
