A new residential building at 15 West 119th Street between Fifth and Lenox avenues in Harlem has now reached its full height of 60 feet. Developer Uri Pielet of Pielet Brothers Construction filed plans back in November 2014 for the six-story, 13-unit project located just one block south from Marcus Garvey Park. The architect of the project is Design + Urbanism Architectural, though the original architect on the project was Melamed Architect.
In this article:
The new building includes nearly 14 thousand square feet and almost 11 thousand of that is reserved for the residences, giving apartments an average just over 800 square feet, with two or three units per floor. The design of the building, paired with its planned amenities are possible indicators of condominiums. Some of the building's features include balconies on each unit, a rooftop terrace, a bike room, and basement storage. Renderings depict a simple yet attractive facade that will certainly stand out from its neighboring buildings. With the project already topped out, we can expect sales to begin soon.
