Designed by Dattner Architects, the building’s towers rise to 17 and 22 floors and the structure is part of an overall multi-building development that will eventually include new retail, a K-8 school and a waterfront park. The Durst Organization has developed some of Manhattan’s top rental buildings including the Midtown West trio VIA 57 West, Helena 57 West and Frank 57 West - and Halletts Point is the firm’s first project outside Manhattan.
At 10 Halletts Point, apartment interiors feature wide plank hardwood flooring, nine-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. Each unit has a convenient Whirlpool washer and dryer. Vented kitchens have under-cabinet lighting, quartzite countertops with frosted glass tile backsplashes and a stainless steel appliance package including a Bosch oven and cooktop, Whirlpool refrigerator and GE dishwasher. In select units, porcelain tile bathrooms have walk-in showers and a separate bathtub. Pets are permitted.
Amenities at the waterfront property include an attended lobby with concierge, lounge, children’s playroom and fitness center with yoga studio. An 25,000-square-foot outpost of grocer Brooklyn Harvest will soon open at the building’s base. There are terraces and outdoor space including barbecue grills and dining tables. There is an onsite resident manager and resident event series - or you can entertain privately in the building’s party room with chef’s kitchen.
