For their first foray outside of Manhattan, The Durst Organization ventured across the river to Astoria for the Hallets Point development. The master plan's first building, 10 Halletts Point, is a vibrant pair of high-rises designed by Dattner Architects’composed of 19 and 22 story towers sharing a common podium. The building opened in early 2019 but now wit the ultimate renter's market upon us, the leasing team is offering up to five months free rent on select apartments. Current market-rate availabilities start at $2,188/month for studios, $2,395/month for one-bedrooms, and $3,326/month for two-bedrooms.
All 404 apartments have interiors by Spacesmith and were designed to make the most of river views through floor-to-ceiling windows. While a 25,000-square-foot Brooklyn Harvest grocery store at the base will be a boon to the surrounding community, residents of 10 Halletts Point need only take the elevator down to get their shopping done. Official building amenities include a hygge-inspired lounge, a fitness center with yoga studio, a party room with chef’s kitchen, and “Tot Spot” children’s playroom. Between the two buildings, an outdoor amenity deck includes lounge, dining, and grilling areas looking out on the Manhattan skyline. Moreover, the building offers an on-site parking garage, a shuttle service to nearby subway and ferry stops, and easy access to a Citi Bike station.
