SKY's the Limit for Noah Snydergaard; Mets Pitcher Scores Apartment in NYC's Largest Rental

It’s an excellent spring for New York Mets pitcher Noah Snydergaard: The Mets are at the top of the league (as of this writing), and he has also scored big in the real estate arena with a corner two-bedroom, two-bath apartment on a high floor of Sky, New York's largest rental building. Recent Instagram posts show him in a living room with interiors by The Rockwell Group and beautiful city and river views. He is in excellent company there; fellow Mets pitcher A.J. Ramos leased a one-bedroom last September, and New York Knicks Kristaps Porzingis and Sasha Vujacic are also among the residents.
“With the expansive world-class gym, complete with an organic café, I only have to leave the building to go to Mets games.” – Noah Snydergaard

While the building’s condo-quality apartments and excellent privacy are not to be ignored, the chief draw for this crowd is Sky’s athletically inclined offerings. These include a high-end gym, indoor and outdoor pools (including one on the roof), fitness classes taught by certified professionals, indoor and outdoor yoga, and a NBA-regulation basketball court designed by Carmelo Anthony. A spa and water club with Turkish-style hammam are the perfect places to recharge.

Beyond the gym and wellness amenities, Sky offers libraries with fireplaces, a billiards lounge, private park, art installations, concierge, valet, canine club, and complimentary daily breakfast catered by Life Cafe. The 7 train to Citi Field is a short walk away; if it wasn’t, a motor court and free shuttle are on hand to help residents get around from one end of the city to another.

Professional athletes aren't the only ones to take notice of Sky. An affordable lottery for 235 units attracted 91,000 applications. Current market-rate availabilities at Sky start at $3,045/month for studios, $4,393/month for one-bedrooms, and $5,700/month for two-bedrooms. Prices are net effective to reflect two months free rent on a 14-month lease.
