As downtown Jersey City and areas surrounding PATH stops get crowded with new buildings, New Jersey Gold Coast developers have begun to look further afield to the cusp of the Hackensack River, which offers a break from the density of urban centers while still having access to a dynamic community. It is in this setting that The Agnes, a five-story rental developed by partners Fields Grade and Blumberg & Freilich Equities, has launched leasing.
Current availabilities start at $1,420/month for studios, $1,888/month for one-beds, and $2,020/month for two-beds. All prices are net effective to reflect three months free rent on a 15-month lease. In addition to the club room and lounge, indoor amenities at The Agnes include a 1,500-square-foot fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment and a yoga studio, public and private work spaces, an art library, a demonstration kitchen, a children's playroom, and a pet washing station. Outdoor offerings include a landscaped courtyard with grills and seating areas, a pool with sun chairs and lounge areas, and a dog run. Additional conveniences include storage, a bike room, and free shuttle service to the Journal Square PATH station.

The PATH allows for a quick commute to Lower Manhattan and Midtown, and the nearby Hudson-Bergen Light Rail offers easy access to downtown Jersey City's shopping and dining offerings, including Ita Italian Kitchen, Orale, Bread and Salt, Harry’s Daughter, and Maggie’s Farm. However, The Agnes has taken shape in a bustling area near the Hackensack River. The building's retail tenant is The Nell, a wellness-focused cafe, and Hudson Mall, Lincoln Park, and Skyway Golf Course may be found nearby.
