No one can deny the remarkable growth–in barely over a decade–of this north Brooklyn neighborhood just one L train stop from Manhattan. So it is a sign of enduring confidence in the community that the 64-room Hotel Williamsburg began welcoming guests in November. The hotel’s prime spot on North 12th Street overlooks McCarren Park and is steps from the famed Brooklyn Brewery and a host of neighborhood hotspots. And there will soon be competition: Another boutique hotel plans to open later this year in Williamsburg, a mere two blocks away at 80 Wythe Avenue.
