Battery Park City gets more play room; A TriBeCa mansion changes hands

Marketing has started for Liberty Luxe and Liberty Green at Battery Park City. A total of 471 condominium residences and a 50,000 square foot community center are key selling points of the two new gold LEED-standard additions. The new community center, operated by Asphalt Green, will extend between both towers and feature a six-lane competition-length pool, a full-court gym, a 156-seat theater, a computer lab and more. Liberty Luxe offers a rooftop terrace and a 24/7 doorman and concierge.

A six-story single-family house located amidst the towers of TriBeCa recently sold for $24 million. The 11,300 square foot, five-bedroom home has a heated 50-foot lap pool, a gym, and 1,500 square feet of exterior space that includes two roof decks. The house first hit the market for $35 Million, “exactly $29,425,000 more than” the previous owners allegedly paid for it in 2005.
