Price cuts at Beaver House; Condos planned for former Brooklyn Law building in the Heights.

The 47-story William Beaver House, often mentioned as a prime example of the city’s newest high-end, amenity-packed “lifestyle” residences may experience some price cuts. In addition to cutting combined asking prices by $91.8 million, the California investment firm that acquired the building’s unsold apartments from the FiDi building’s developer has indicated that they might rent out some or all of the 209 unsold units.

A residence hall at 184 Joralemon Street in Brooklyn Heights is in contract to be sold by Brooklyn Law School to BCN Development for $12 million. The company’s plans for the Beaux-Arts building include 24 two-bedroom condos and a lobby renovation. Residences will be about 1000 square feet each, priced at $1 million and up—and there will be two penthouses with East River views.
