Jennifer Aniston is known for her apartment-collecting exploits; recently her fiance, Justin Theroux, was seen scouting Manhattan properties: Theroux checked out a $2.295 million, 1,770-square-foot, two-bedroom duplex in the Police Building at 240 Centre Street. Apartments in the landmarked co-op building feature 12-foot arched windows, 18-foot ceilings and other lofty details (NYPost).

NY1 business anchor Annika Pergament is selling her Trump Place condo for $2.595 million. The 1,723-square-foot apartment at 120 Riverside Boulevard offers three bedrooms and oversized windows that frame Hudson River views. Amenities at the Costas Kondylis-designed building include a garage, a gym and a swimming pool (NYPost).

Yankee Alex Rodriguez recently viewed teammate Ichiro Suzuki’s former apartment at the Laurel at 400 East 67th Street. Suzuki had been renting the 2,700-square-foot, four-bedroom apartment on the 25th floor. A-Rod sold his 3,585-square-foot, five-bedroom Rushmore pad at 80 Riverside Boulevard for $6.6 million about a year ago (CurbedNY).

Disgraced “non-fiction” author James Frey has sold his condo at 505 Greenwich Street for $3.9 million. Frey and wife Maya combined two units, resulting in a spacious 2,800-square-foot, four-bedroom home with a vast 40-foot by 23-foot living room (NYObserver).

Neil Blumenthal, founder of the popular Warby Parker eyewear label, recently purchased a Greenwich Village co-op at the coveted Butterfield House at 37 West 12th Street that once belonged to late Sesame Street song- and scriptwriter Tony Geiss. Blumenthal and wife Rachel paid $200k over the asking price of $3.3 million for the three-bedroom post-war apartment with full-floor windows facing both north and south and dedicated off-street parking (NYObserver).

The never-inhabited penthouse at the Winka Dubbeldam-designed 497 Greenwich Street is now on the market for $14 million–the four-bedroom duplex features a slanted double-story glass wall facing the Hudson River and a terrace that spans the apartment’s width. Interior perks include a gas fireplace and ceiling speakers in every room, and the apartment comes with a 1,500-square-foot private landscaped roof deck with a living room and an outdoor kitchen and dining area (CurbedNY).
