Bensimon seeks a tenant; Bacon looking to buy; Sinatra’s Rat Pack pad sells.

Former Real Housewife Kelly Bensimon’s downtown co-op in the Police Building at 240 Centre Street is now available to rent at $20k a month. The 2,600-square-foot, three-bedroom apartment in the top-rated Beaux-Arts building that formerly housed the NYPD boasts 17-foot-high ceilings and three exposures (CurbedNY).

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, who currently live on Central Park West, have been spotted shopping for a downtown home. Bacon recently viewed a three-bedroom condo on the 31st floor of 101 Warren Street (pictured) in TriBeCa. The 2,530-square-foot apartment, which is on the market for $5.995 million, has downtown and river views and comes with parking (NYPost).

Frank Sinatra’s former bachelor pad, a four-bedroom penthouse atop the Edgewater at 530 East 72nd Street, recently sold. The most recent price for the 3,200-square-foot co-op with 18-foot-high ceilings, East River views and a wraparound terrace was $5.495 million (NYPost).

A penthouse at the Abingdon at 320 West 12th Street in the West Village recently sold for $29.8 million, $10.3 million above its asking price; the 5,574-square-foot space in the 10-unit former nursing home turned condo comes with 1,400 square feet of outdoor space as well as such building amenities as a gym, sauna, doorman and porter (TRD).

The buyer of the headline-grabbing $90 million One57 duplex penthouse at 157 West 57th Street was revealed to be a group led by billionaire hedge-funder William Ackman. The 14,000-square-foot penthouse overlooking Central Park has an atrium with a wall of hinged glass and a living room with double-height ceilings from which to enjoy the view (WSJ).

The CitySpire penthouse that made news when it was listed with a $100 million price tag was just re-listed by its owner, Steven Klar, who bought the 8,000-square-foot octagonal condo at 150 West 56th Street for just $4.5 million in the early ‘90s (NYObserver).
